There is no trial / demo available for Omnisphere 2 due to the library size, but if you are able to make it out to an authorized retailer, you can often call ahead to set up an in-store demo. Omnisphere has nothing but solid and i mean solid, like absolute 3 dimensional sound that blows me away. Naturally, the price for Komplete goes along with that, much more expensive than Omnisphere. The price tag is quite high but this synth is absolutely worth it. Tons of presets for both though and I dont hear a lot of overlap with Omni and the NI stuff, so they are worth it IMO. I end up using Synthmaster 1 quite a bit, it has a more modern sound to my ears than Sythmaster 2 however SM2 has some nice retro sounds.

Komplete will give you more of what youвЂ™re looking for as far as covering all the bases. I have Omnisphere and all the NI synths along with Synthmaster 1 & 2. Omnisphere has fantastic stuff to work with, but if you really prefer to just have a set of awesome sounds and arrange with what youвЂ™ve got, then Nexus is definitely the way to go. It gives you a huge amount of neat presets that are good for any kind of modern music right now.
